Getting started
Coming from GoHighLevel
Where every menu you know has gone, what's called something else, and what isn't here yet.
4 min read
GoHighLevel has about 17 sections and 100 tabs. BizOS has nine core sections, plus the extra apps you switch on, Learn and Settings. Almost everything you use has become a tab, a filter or a button inside one of them, and each lives where you'd look for it while doing that job.

A few names that changed
- A sub-account is an account: one business, with its own contacts and inbox.
- An opportunity is a deal.
- A smart list is a saved list on Contacts.
- A snippet is a saved reply.
- A manual action is a task.
- An estimate is a quote.
What isn't here yet
Almost everything GoHighLevel does is here now, as extra apps you switch on in Apps. See Switch on the extra apps. A few things still need accounts of your own before they work for real:
- Real phone calls need a phone number from a calling provider, and WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger need a Meta business account. Until then the phone runs in a simulator.
- Posting to social networks and importing ads need each network's connection.
- Live bank feeds aren't connected, so you import bank statements as files.
- There is no app marketplace yet. Other tools connect through Apps, using Zapier or Make.
How to move across
- Export your contacts from GoHighLevel as a CSV, then import them. Tag the batch so you can find it later.
- Export your opportunities and import your deals. Set your pipeline stages first.
- Bring over your custom fields before you import, so they appear when you match columns.
- Connect your phone number and email.
- Rebuild your important workflows. Most follow-ups are one of the ready-made templates, and the rest are quick to build.
- Move your website or funnel over last, then point your domain at it.
Leave automations off during the import, so old contacts don't all get a welcome text.
