Switch tools on and off, and connect other apps
Hide what this business doesn't use, and link up the services it already has.

Apps does two jobs: it keeps your menu short, and it connects BizOS to the services you already use.
Switch a tool on or off
- Open Apps.
- Under Built-in apps, use the switch beside the tool.
Switching one off hides it from the sidebar for this business. That's all it does: your data stays, and anything already running carries on. Switch it back on at any time.
You can switch off Pipeline, Calendar, Payments, Marketing tools, Automations and Reports. Home, Inbox and Contacts are always on.
Anything under Coming soon isn't built yet, so it has no switch.
Find what you want to connect
Search for it, like Xero or Slack, or pick a category. Each card says how it connects:
| It says | What it means |
|---|---|
| Connect | It connects from here. Open the card and follow the steps. |
| Connected | It's set up and working. |
| Needs attention | Something has stopped, like a calendar that needs reconnecting. Open the card to fix it. |
| Not set up | It has to be set up on the server first. Ask whoever runs your BizOS. |
| Works through Zapier or Make | There's no direct connection yet, but it works today through one of those. |
Post to a team chat
Slack, Discord, Microsoft Teams and Google Chat can tell your team when a new lead, payment or booking comes in.
- Open the card and follow the steps to get a webhook address.
- Paste it into Webhook URL. Treat it like a password.
- Add a Name if you like, such as the channel.
- Tick what you want posted, then choose Connect channel.
- Choose Send a test to check it arrives.
Add Google Analytics or an ad pixel
Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity and Hotjar all work with your website or funnel. Google Tag Manager runs only once the site has its own domain.
- Open the card and choose Choose a site, or go straight to Site tracking.
- Open your site, add the tag's ID and choose Save tracking IDs.
Visitors see a cookie banner first, and the tag only loads for people who agree.
Stripe, calendars, phone and email
These are set up where you use them. The card shows how they're doing and takes you there. There are guides for Stripe, Google and Outlook calendars, and your phone number and email.
Use Zapier or Make
Most of the list works through Zapier or Make, using your webhooks and API. It takes about ten minutes, and you'll need an account with one of them. Zapier's webhook step needs a paid Zapier plan.
Open the card for the app you want. It has short steps for each direction, such as sending paid invoices to Xero, or adding people from Calendly to your contacts.
If an app isn't on the list, it may still work: anything on Zapier or Make can reach your data the same way.
For developers
The Developers tab is for admins, and for whoever builds your connections:
- API keys. Give each tool its own key, with only the access it needs.
- Webhooks send events the moment they happen. They're signed, retried for two days if your server is down, and logged.
- Incoming webhooks give other apps a private address to add or update a contact and start an automation.
- API docs has the details.
If a connection stops working
After repeated failures we switch a connection off, so nothing is sent there. A message at the top of Apps tells you, with a link to see what went wrong and switch it back on.
