Getting started
Try it out with sample data
Fill an account with a made-up plumbing firm to see how everything looks, then remove it in one click.

A new account looks empty, which makes it hard to picture. Sample data fills it with Fernhill Plumbing, an invented business, so Home, the Pipeline and Reports all have something to show.
Load it
- Open Learn.
- Choose Load sample data.
- If this account already has contacts, you'll be asked to confirm first. Sample data sits alongside them.
You get contacts, companies, deals, tasks, appointments, conversations, quotes, invoices and a form with responses, all dated around today.
What it won't do
- It sends nothing. Sample contacts are marked as opted out of texts and email, so campaigns, automations and reminders leave them out. You can't reply to them from the inbox for the same reason, though you can add notes.
- It doesn't set anything off. No automations start and nobody gets a notification.
- It doesn't use your numbering. Sample invoices are numbered
SAMPLE-0001and so on, so your first real invoice is still your first. - It's not billed. Sample messages don't count as usage.
- It isn't public. The sample calendars and form are switched off, so they have no public page.
Sample contacts carry the tag sample, so you can always tell them apart.
Remove it
- Open Learn.
- Choose Remove sample data and confirm.
Only the sample rows are deleted. Your own contacts, deals and invoices stay. If you added something real to a sample contact, like a deal or an invoice, it stays too, just without that contact. A sample invoice someone paid by card stays as well, so the payment isn't lost. Notes and tasks you added to a sample contact go with them.
If you added a real appointment to a sample calendar, or a real response came in on the sample form, that calendar or form stays so nothing of yours is lost. You can delete it yourself.
