Set up how you get paid
Add your bank details and tax settings, and connect Stripe to take card payments.

Do this once before your first invoice. It takes five minutes.
Add your bank details
- Open Payment settings.
- Under Bank transfer, add your Bank details. They're shown on invoices, and customers use the invoice number as the reference.
Set your tax and numbering
Still in Payment settings:
- Choose your Currency and Days to pay, which sets the due date on new invoices.
- Add a Tax name, such as VAT, and your Standard tax rate. Use 0 if you don't charge it.
- Add your Tax number if you have one. It's printed on every invoice.
- Change the Invoice prefix and Next invoice number if you're carrying on from an old system.
- Choose Save settings.
Take card payments
- On Payment settings, find Card payments and choose Connect Stripe.
- Sign in to Stripe, or create an account, and follow the steps.
The money goes straight to your own Stripe account, and Stripe's fees apply.
Only agency owners and admins, or an admin of this account, can change these settings.
Chase unpaid invoices automatically
Tick Remind customers about unpaid invoices, then choose how many days before and after the due date to send a reminder. Use 0 for none. Reminders go out between 9am and 7pm, the same way the invoice went out, and stop as soon as it's paid.
Turn accepted quotes into invoices
Tick Make an invoice when a customer accepts. The invoice waits as a draft for you to check and send.
