Terms of service

Draft written 1 November 2026

First draft, under review

This is a plain-English first draft and has not yet been checked by a solicitor. It may change before it takes effect. Items in highlighted square brackets are still to be filled in.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Improvable LTD (“we”, “us”), which runs BizOS. Company number and registered address: [company number and address to add]. Contact: [contact email to add]. By creating an account or using BizOS you agree to them. If you use it for a company or agency, you confirm you can agree on its behalf.

The service

BizOS is software for running a business: contacts, messages, bookings, payments, marketing and other apps you can switch on or off. Features change over time. Some features need an account with a third party, and some run as a simulator until you connect your own accounts; the screen says so when that applies. We do not promise any particular level of availability.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe and give accurate information. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what the people you invite do. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got in.

Your data and your customers

You own the data you put into BizOS. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to hold it and use it, including to message people. For the personal data of your own contacts, you are the controller and we are your processor, as set out in our privacy policy. Agencies are responsible for their clients’ data and for telling clients how it is used.

Plans, credits and payment

Plans, prices and any free trial are shown on our pricing section. Prices exclude VAT. Texts, emails and AI replies use credits. How the monthly allowance, purchased credits and automatic top-ups work is explained in the product. Payments are handled by Stripe. Texts and calls are sent through Telnyx and email through Resend, and their costs and any limits they apply may affect delivery. Refunds: [refund terms to be confirmed].

Connected services

You can connect services such as Xero, QuickBooks, Google, Microsoft and Meta. You choose what to connect and can disconnect at any time. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them or for changes they make.

Books, tax and accounting

The Books app helps you keep records. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice, and it does not file anything with HMRC. You remain responsible for your own records, returns and deadlines, and should ask a qualified adviser if you are unsure.

AI features

Sidekick and other AI features are powered by Anthropic. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check it before you rely on it or send it to anyone, and edit it as you need. You are responsible for anything you send or act on. Do not rely on AI output for legal, medical, financial or tax decisions.

Acceptable use

You must not use BizOS to:

  • break the law, or send messages without the permission the law requires (for example for marketing texts and emails);
  • send spam, scams, or abusive, threatening or misleading content;
  • infringe other people’s rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
  • try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt or overload the service;
  • resell or white-label the service except through the agency features of an agency plan; or
  • use it in ways that break the rules of our providers, such as those for texts, calls and email.

We may suspend or limit an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

Cancelling

You can stop using BizOS and cancel your plan at any time. How to cancel: [to be confirmed against the billing screen]. What happens to your data afterwards, and for how long we keep it, is described in our privacy policy. We may end or suspend your account if you break these terms or do not pay. Notice period and export arrangements on cancellation: [to be confirmed].

Our responsibility to you

We will take reasonable care in providing BizOS, but we provide it as it is and cannot promise it will be free from errors or interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Other limits on our liability: [to be set on legal review].

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will tell account holders about important changes before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer you may have the right to bring a claim where you live.
