Calendar and booking
Create a booking calendar
Make a calendar for each thing people book, and share its booking page.
2 min read
Make one calendar for each thing people book, such as "Boiler service" or "Free quote visit". Each gets its own booking page, opening hours and length.
Create a calendar
- Open Calendar and choose Manage calendars. If you have no calendars yet, choose Create a calendar.
- Choose New calendar.
- Give it a Name. That's what people see, so call it what they're booking.
- Add a Description for the booking page: what happens, and anything to bring.
- Set the Length, and a Gap between bookings if you need travel time.
- Set Notice needed, so nobody books you for ten minutes from now, and Days ahead, for how far ahead they can book.
- Set your Opening hours. Use Copy Monday to Tuesday–Friday to save typing.
- Choose Create calendar.
Opening hours use the timezone in Settings.
Share your booking page
On the Calendar page, use Booking links to copy a link to any calendar. Put it in texts, emails or your Instagram bio, or add it to your website with a booking section.
When someone books, they're added to your contacts and the appointment lands in your calendar.
Pause bookings
Turn off Taking bookings to hide the booking page. Appointments already booked stay in the calendar.
Stop double bookings
To keep people out of times you're busy elsewhere, connect your Google or Outlook calendar.
